Crashing A Cruise Night

During the month of May, I always notice the weekly cruise night schedules popping up for various locations hosting car meets. Last year, I visited a few different places in the fuga that really made an impact on me. This year, I made sure to visit the ones I enjoyed the most last year. I couldn't wait to take the honda out for the first time this year and experience these places all over again.

At the beginning of the week, I drove my honda to IPK for the first time. It was a slightly chilly Monday, so I put on my cozy SDL hoodie, made sure the oil level was good, and warmed up the honda before heading out.

On Monday, I found myself being the sole person present at the venue. But that didn't bother me at all. I confidently walked in and settled comfortably at the bar. To my surprise, the bartender was someone I remembered from last year, and we immediately struck up a conversation. "So, where's your car?" the bartender curiously inquired. "I decided to bring out the racecar tonight," I replied with a smile. As it turned out, he was also a fan of Honda cars, just like me. When things quieted down a bit, he joined me outside, and we indulged in a delightful discussion about all things Honda. It was an unexpected encounter, but it felt incredibly pleasant to connect with another passionate Honda enthusiast.

I had an absolute blast at IPK on Monday night. The food was absolutely delicious, and the overall experience was top-notch. Moving on to Tuesday, I decided to explore a different kind of adventure - a classic car spot. The Broken Oar, situated in a remote area surrounded by nature, is the perfect spot for car enthusiasts. It's located right by a picturesque river, adding to the charm of the place.

Last year, a friend suggested I check out this spot and I instantly fell in love with the vibe. The parking lot always has a couple of cool custom builds, and the first cruise night I attended was no different.

As I pulled up, I couldn't help but notice the sleek Mclaren parked next to me. It was undeniably cool. However, as I stepped out of my Honda, I couldn't help but notice the bewildered expressions on the faces of the muscle car enthusiasts nearby. It seemed like they couldn't comprehend why someone would choose a Honda over their beloved muscle cars. The sight was absolutely priceless, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction.

I went for a brief walk to admire the cars before snapping some photos with my camera. Among the standout vehicles was a pinto that caught my eye. This pinto had an LS engine and turbo, making it one wild ride to drive.

I've come across a stunning build in the past that really caught my eye - a massive body that exudes elegance. Although I'm not entirely certain about its make, I am definitely eager to capture more photos of it. The interior is simply amazing, and even though I missed snapping a picture of it this time, I am determined to return and capture a complete set of the interior of this magnificent beauty. Just take a moment to admire this grand beauty...

After snapping a few more photos, I made my way to the bar to satisfy my hunger. The open-air bar stole my heart last summer. It's amazing how boats can dock right next to it, with the restaurant overlooking the river.

Once I finished devouring my delicious veggie philly sandwich, I noticed the sky had taken on a slightly darker hue, signaling that it was time for me to leave. As I made my way home, I did experience a light drizzle, but fortunately, it wasn't anything too heavy to dampen my spirits.
